Why has my 'Accepted' request not moved 'In Progress'?

When a feature moves to “Accepted” state it means that the accepted feature request has met our criteria and has been added to the backlog for future consideration. However, due to the RICE prioritization process and competing demands, it may remain in the backlog until it is selected for active development. Factors such as reach, impact, confidence, effort, and alignment with overall strategy all influence the timing of progression to the "In Progress" stage. To know about what criterions, we use to prioritize features and bugs, please refer to the article titled, “How do you decide which features and bug fixes to prioritize?”
